Media Violence Critical Response

In the essay "Media violence is good for kids" by Gerard jones, the writer believe that media violence is helpful to a lot of kids. I agree with this to an extent.. I believe children should be taught to work , play sports, music , or do something they love outside of school to help them build their character. Jones does a good job providing evidence for his work but I think he should've mentioned more facts like he did mention psychologist Moore to help him refute the teacher argument that "media violence is bad for kids because it fills up their head with junk. The author did provide good testimonies, like his sons experience with reading Tarzan comics encouraged  him to climb up a tree without fear of falling because he then viewed climbing a tree as an adventure. Overall, I thought Jones did a good job conveying the message in narrative way.
